Scientific Career:
In 1995, she graduated with honors from D.I. Mendeleev RHTU with a degree in "Chemical Technology of Materials for Modern Energy" and enrolled in postgraduate studies at D.I. Mendeleev RHTU. From 1998 to 2003, she worked as a Junior Researcher at the Department of Isotope Technology and Hydrogen Energy. In 2003, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD) on the topic: "Separation of Nitrogen Isotopes in Ammonia — Ammonium Salt Solution Systems at Elevated Temperature". From 2003 to 2005, she worked as a Researcher at the Department of High Energy Chemistry and Radioecology. From 2005 to the present, she has held the position of Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of High Energy Chemistry and Radioecology.

Research Interests:
Radioecology, Cs-137, radioactive waste immobilization, material modification, sorbents, bentonites, engineered safety barriers, including:
  • Study of decontamination processes of liquid (aqueous and organic) and gaseous media from various radionuclides, preparation and study of new sorbents, as well as development of combined technologies for decontamination under special conditions
  • Development of matrices and methods for immobilization of radioactive waste of complex compositions
  • Study of buffer properties of barrier systems containing bentonite for radioactive waste disposal in near-surface and deep repositories.
