The German Clay and Clay Minerals Group (Deutsche Ton- und Tonmineralgruppe e.V. — DTTG) is pleased to announce the 12th Mid-European Clay Conference (MECC 2026), which will take place at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich), Campus Zentral, from September 6 to 11, 2026. The conference will be organized by DTTG and ETH Zurich under the patronage of Dr. Michael Plötze.

- The opportunity to propose individual conference sessions is open until January 31, 2026
- Abstract submission deadlines will be announced shortly

The committee strongly encourages young postdoctoral researchers to put themselves forward to chair sessions and will provide active support throughout the entire organisation and abstract review process.
Please note that applications for participation will be reviewed by the scientific committee, and accepted applications will be announced soon after the abstract submission deadline.
