Annual Meeting of the RMO in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
Dear Colleagues!
We invite you to take part in the Annual Meeting of the Russian Mineralogical Society (RMO), which will take place on September 12–19, 2026 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The Russian Mineralogical Society has existed for more than 200 years and is the oldest of the currently existing mineralogical societies in the world. The Society is a member and one of the founders of the International Mineralogical Association, as well as the European Mineralogical Union.
The theme of the Meeting is: "The Russian Mineralogical Society Today: Fundamental and Applied Research for Creating New Approaches to the Development of Russia's Mineral Wealth".
The scientific programme will include presentations, round tables, microsymposia, seminars, a ceremony for awarding the N.I. Koksharov medals and diplomas for new mineral discoveries, as well as work of RMO commissions and branches.
