This forum, which will include plenary lectures, symposia, seminars, workshops, posters and field trips, continues the tradition established in previous editions by bringing together a broad international community to advance the exploration, synthesis, analysis and characterization, functionalization and applications of clay minerals and related fine particles, industrial minerals, and associated resources and materials.
The forum will cover a wide range of science and technology, including geochemistry, mineralogy, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science and engineering. This 10th edition will also highlight the growing role of computer and digitalization, artificial intelligence in the science, engineering and processing of industrial minerals and reflect the latest evolution towards data‑driven and computationally assisted innovation and production.
To honour and celebrate WFIM-10, the Forum Chairs and the editors of Clay Minerals invite participants and other scientists from around the world to submit papers to a special WFIM-10 collection of the journal Clay Minerals. All topics within the scope of Clay Minerals are welcome.
