AIPEA-Talk: PostDoc Position Open

Dear colleagues,

The International Association for the Study of Clays (AIPEA) is looking for a specialist for a PostDoc position. Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Geological Sciences, Soil Science, Environmental Engineering, or a comparable field with in-depth knowledge of clay mineralogy and chemistry, or a doctoral degree.

The Sandwich sealing hydraulic system, developed by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), is currently undergoing large-scale testing at the Mont Terri rock laboratory as part of the Sandwich-HP2 project. The experiment is accompanied by laboratory tests to optimize materials and parameters for hydro-mechanical-chemical modeling.

Dear colleagues,

In the frame of the Sandwich-HP2 project, the hydraulic Sandwich sealing system developed by KIT is being tested on a large scale in the Mont Terri rock laboratory (CH). The in-situ experiment is accompanied by laboratory tests to optimize the materials and parameterization for hydro-mechanical-chemical modelling.

We are looking for a PostDoc with a MSc degree in geosciences, soil science, environmental engineering or a comparable course of study with sound (clay) mineralogical and chemical knowledge as well as a completed PhD.
